Prinz Gholam is a Berlin-based artist duo consisting of Wolfgang Prinz and Michel Gholam. For nearly two decades, the duo have developed a performative practice which, through a series of choreographic sequences, aims to embody a range of materials such as paintings, sculptures, film and media images. Often performed in historically relevant places, such as museums or archaeological sites, public spaces, their works act as a body mapping of the information they internalize on site. Prinz Gholam are currently residents at Villa Massimo (Accademia Tedesca Roma Villa Massimo).
